Online engineering tools

Spirax Sarco has added four more utilities to its online engineering support centre. There is a calculator for the amount of flash steam produced for a specific pressure drop, condensate temperature and condensate flow rate. There is also a tool to determine the orifice diameter or the flow coefficient for specific conditions. A calculator allows the user to determine the heat rating or steam flow from a set of simple inputs, whilst hot- and cold-water flow rates can be determined so that a mixed-water flow rate and temperature can be maintained. This engineering centre provides quick answers to many engineering calculations.
