From air conditioning to egg heads — a team from TEV, formerly Marstair has become the first to beat the resident team on BBC’s Egg Heads this series.
Staff at air-conditioning manufacturer TEV, formerly Marstair, have beaten the BBC’s Egg heads in the game show hosted by Dermot Murnaghan to win a cash prize of £29 000. Led by captain Rodney Hayes, the team travelled to the BBC studios in London, where they put the egg heads through their paces by answering question on history, sport, geography and films with ease. Rodney Hayes told us, ‘It was a huge achievement for us to beat the egg heads, and it’s the first time that they have lost to their challengers during this series, so we are really proud of ourselves. It was our determination, intelligence, knowledge and capability that helped us win the game — the same way these qualities have helped us triumph in business.’ TEV is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of refrigeration, air-conditioning equipment and the environmentally friendly Heatking Bwarm heating range.
