Bitzer adds to capabilities of Octagon compressors

Bitzer has expanded its Octagon range of compressors with two new ranges for R410A and sub-critical carbon-dioxide applications. The C3 and C4 series can be used with R410A and have displacements from 12.4 to 46.9 m3/h. Features include high efficiency and highly economic capacity control. Easy compounding makes them well suited to air-conditioning systems and demanding heat-pump applications. 16 new models in the C1 to C4 series for sub-critical carbon-dioxide (R744) applications offer displacements from 2.7 to 46.9 m3/h at 50 Hz. The application range can be extended up to a condensing temperature of 2°C by adjusting the displacement to the motor capacity.
