Continuous steam for humidification

Continuous steam for humidification using raw mains water is provided by the VapaLab LEC electrode-boiler steam generator.
Vapac Humidity Control has developed a range of electrode-boiler steam generators that provide uninterrupted output for processes and environments where even small fluctuations in humidity and time spent on drain cycles are not acceptable. Vapac says that there are no other systems on the market that can deliver the quantity and quality of steam without a combination of reverse osmosis and softened water. The Vapac LEC, in contrast, simply uses raw mains water. Five models offer 5 to 45 kg/h of continuous steam. Each unit comprises a twin-cylinder system that instantly modulates down to 8% to match changes in demand and which is controlled by the VapaNet LEC system. When one cylinder enters a drain routine, the other automatically increases its output. Factory-fitted options include reducing the number of drain cycles to save water and electricity and draining the cylinders more frequently to flush out detritus and increase cylinder life.
