Sontay distributes LonWorks products

Sontay has formed a partnership with Echelon to distribute its LonWorks automation infrastructure products for energy and building-control applications. Included in the range is the i.LON internet server, which offers the ability to remotely control and monitor assets whilst reducing energy and maintenance costs. Stuart McSorley, managing director of Sontay, says, ‘We see this strategic partnership as a real benefit to our technology-driven customers. More refrigerant bans possible, says government

The government could tighten up the rules that restrict the use of global warming refrigerant gases including speeding up phase-out programmes and introducing new bans, according to a spokesman from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).
