Build your career at the National Engineering & Construction
The National Engineering & Construction Recruitment Exhibition (NECR) being held in London and Birmingham during November will offer a wide range of superb career opportunities, with hundreds of exciting roles for the thousands of experienced professionals and graduates expected to attend these events. They are at Earls Court in London on 14 and 15 November and at the NEC, Birmingham, on 28 and 29 November 2008. Entry is free. NECR is the largest engineering and construction recruitment event in the UK, has roles on offer covering all areas of the industry including: aerospace, automotive, mechanical, electronics, software and defence, construction, civil and structural engineering and facilities management. Many leading employers will be actively recruiting at the 2-day exhibitions. The University Challenge gives teams from universities across the country the chance to compete against each other to design, build and test their inventions in a challenging task to win a cash prize.
Visitors will also find many valuable free advisory services to help them in their career progression. They can take advantage of the careers advice lounge, the interview clinic, a one-to-one consultation at the CV clinic, as well as a vast range of careers presentations. The events also offer the chance to participate in a series of enjoyable presentations and fascinating features that will inspire visitors in their career research and planning. The Women in Engineering Forum on 14 November in London and 28 November in Birmingham will provide visitors with the opportunity to hear successful female engineers talking about their careers and to network with inspirational women and potential employers over a buffet lunch. The Women in Engineering Forum is supported by the UK resource centre for women in science, engineering and technology.
