The new head office of Shepherd FM, the facilities-management division of Shepherd Engineering Services, is to become a centre of excellence — with its own in-house training academy.

This head office backs onto London’s Albert Dock and houses the service desk and various support functions.

Noel Clancy, managing director of Shepherd FM, ‘Our new head office is a major investment for us, which enables us to better respond to the needs of our staff, resulting in happier clients.’

The new training centre has already seen a high number of engineers passing through its doors for seminars such as customer service and safety awareness. Many Shepherd FM clients are also taking advantage of the facility.

Neil Marley is Shepherd FM’s safety, quality and environmental advisor and has conducted a number of training seminars and technical training days. He says, ‘Expert advice, knowledgeable staff and support for our customers are all ingredients for our continued success.

‘We are an innovative and responsible company, providing a range of support services for our clients. We help them meet their statutory obligations, reduce their risk and maintain their asset value.’
