NG Bailey wins major hospital job in London

The £37.5 million services contract for this new building at Great Ormond Street Hospital has been awarded to NG Bailey.

NG Bailey has been appointed by BAM Construction to provide all M&E and ICT (information communication technology) services for the new clinical building of Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.

The £37.5 million contract will involve Bailey Off-Site prefabricating 110 corridor modules and electrical risers. Bailey’s ICT arm will provide structured cabling on the project.

NG Bailey is already engaged in the pre-commencement phase and will start delivering the work in February 2010, with completion due in November 2011.

Tim Cunningham, operations director in London, comments, ‘This is a substantial project for us and is, in fact, one of the largest healthcare projects we’ve contracted in London.’
