Balfour Kilpatrick and Haden Young merge

Balfour Beatty Engineering Services is the new operating company of Balfour Beatty in the UK M&E engineering services market. The new company combines the skills and resource of Balfour Kilpatrick and Haden Young, which have previous operated as separate specialist businesses within the Balfour Beatty Group. The new company will have revenues of £600 million.

John Moore is managing director of the new company. He says, ‘Balfour Beatty is the largest organisation of its type in the UK, offering a range of services and capabilities unique in the mechanical and electrical market.

‘Harnessing the capabilities of these two businesses and exploiting their combined strengths in a focused, customer-facing organisation, with streamlined processes, will ensure that we take our engineering-services business forward in the best way for continuing, sustained success.’
