Briggs & Forrester wins City contract

Briggs & Forrester has been awarded a £2.1 million contract for the bespoke 15-storey 70 m-tall new headquarters building for Rothschild Bank at New Court in the City of London.

Working in partnership with Bovis Lend Lease and Stanhope, Briggs & Forrester will install mechanical services, including shell-and-core pipework. Work is due to be completed in July 2010.

New procurement rules mean NHS suppliers will need to demonstrate their green credentials so the NHS can achieve its target of becoming net zero for directly-controlled emissions by 2040, with an ambition to reach an 80% reduction in its carbon emissions between 2028 to 2032.
