Fully modulating condensing boilers with outputs from 120 to 750 kW have been added to Hamworthy’s Wessex range.
Hamworthy has extended its Wessex range of high-efficiency boilers with fully modulating condensing boilers. The ModuMax 200 Series offers outputs of 250, 500 and 750 kW. The 100 Series provides outputs of 120, 240 and 360 kW. These boilers have stainless-steel heat exchangers which provide strength and weight benefits without the need for special water treatment. They weigh just 0.8 kg per kilowatt of output. The combustion chamber is also of stainless steel, and the flue connection has a tri-lip silicone seal — the same as Hamworthy’s Masterflue system. Proven control technology include a local management unit, which uses LPB bus communications and optional clip modules with plug-in colour-coded connections. Options include a modulating sequence cascade controller and room sensor with digital programmer. Pipework kits can be installed before fitting the boiler.
