Jimmy Dobson (right in picture), a partner with PSA, was presented with the consultant of the year award by Robert Manning, president-elect of CIBSE.

PSA won the award for its strong performance during the current economic recession and its ability to maintain the achievement of 75% of its work through repeat business. The scope of its projects range from an office refurbishment of £100 000 to a new-build health centre and leisure complex of £30 million.

Jimmy Dobson comments, ‘We are delighted to be given this award, which shows that a company that employs 22 people is able to compete with worldwide companies. We are currently looking to expand within the sustainability sector, with our expertise through BREEAM and low-carbon technologies, and we feel we are perfectly placed to develop further by offering BREEAM Assessments.’
