Accelerating the market penetration of mini-CHP — David Shaw.

Baxi-SenerTec UK, which is responsible for marketing the Dachs mini-CHP product in the UK, is now part of the Baxi Commercial Division. The company has relocated to the same premises in Erdington in the West Midlands. David Shaw, business manager of Baxi-SenerTec UK, has joined Baxi Commercial Division, reporting to Paul Hardy, managing director.

The move is intended to accelerate the marketing penetration of Dachs mini-CHP into the UK commercial market by optimising the synergy of low- to zero-carbon technologies available form Baxi Commercial Division.

The Dach’s mini-CHP is said to be Europe’s biggest-selling CHP unit. It generates 5.5 kW of 3-phase electricity and 12.5 to 15.5 kW of heat.

David Shaw comments, ‘It is a logical step forward to bring the Baxi-SenerTec UK business under the Baxi Commercial division umbrella, as I firmly believe the Dachs mini-CHP unit will increasingly become an invaluable integral part of commercial heating systems.’
