CIBSE names employer of the year

Crofton Design has been named as overall winner of CIBSE’s Employer of the Year Awards. The awards recognise employers which have shown excellence and innovation in developing the engineers of the future. They reward organisations that proactively champion young people in the industry, whether through a commitment to young people in employment or by supporting these employees through education.

This firm of consulting engineers specialises in mechanical, electrical, structural and civil engineering design within the construction industry. The judges were particularly impressed by its university and school work placements scheme and its involvement in the engineering education scheme of the Engineering Development Trust.
