Vaillant heat pump exploits renewable energy for Dorset housing association
One of the first installations of a Vaillant geoTHERM Air 12 air-to-water heat pump and uniSTOR cylinder is a social-housing refurbishment in Bishops Caundle, near Sherborne in Dorset. It will provide heating and hot water for a 3-bedroom home owned by Magna Housing Association.
This housing association is looking at options for providing heating and hot water at many of its properties where gas is not available.
A. P. Chant Building Services, which has worked with Magna for 10 years, was asked to assess the options available and liaise with the tenant so they could make an informed decision on how they would like to meet their heating and hot-water needs.
Once a decision had been made, A. P. Chant recommended Vaillant’s geoTHERM Air system. ‘Once the tenant had decided on a new renewable heating and hot-water system, we were happy to recommend Vaillant.
