Vent-Axia’s Silent Fan is listed in Quiet Mark directory

Vent-Axia’s Silent Fan has been awarded the Quiet Mark 2012 by the Noise Abatement Society and features in the recently launched ‘Quiet Mark directory’. With a noise level of 16 dB(A), this fan is claimed to be ‘a significant 75% quieter than a typical intermittent bathroom fans’.

In a recent survey commissioned by Vent-Axia showed, 40% of people said that they or their children had been woken in the night by a noisy bathroom fan, which can lead to it being turned off and causing condensation problems.

These 100 mm axial fans are capable of 2-speed operation and can extract 26 l/s. Options include a standard model and adjustable over-run timer from 5 to 30 min.
