GDL completes contract for Leeds Arena

GDL, air conditioning, grille, diffuser, ventilation

GDL has completed the manufacture and supply of ventilation grilles and diffusers for the new £60 million Leeds Arena entertainment venue for music and sporting events in the centre of Leeds. It has a capacity of 13 500 and will be the UK’s first purpose-built ‘fan-shape’ arena. It is due to open to the public in July 2013.

GDL worked alongside M&E contractor Rotary Yorkshire and main contractor BAM Construction.

GDL ventilation grilles and diffusers were selected as the most suitable product types to ventilate key sections of the arena. High-quality paint finishes and accessories can be supplied to meet exact requirements.
