Efficient replacement heating for Torin-Sifan’s factory at Swindon is based on Nor-Ray-Vac continuous radiant-tube heating.

Replacement heating for the UK factory of Torin-Sifan, whose products include fans and fan decks for the HVAC industry, is based on Nor-Ray-Vac continuous radiant-tube heating from AmbiRad. In designing the replacement heating for the 4500 m2 facility, contractor ABS Heating worked with AmbiRad on a solution that would be highly efficient and offer low running costs.

The installation comprises 33 burners at a height of 5 m. The heaters are arranged in nine zones along with nine discharge fans. A further four Vision VS15 radiant-heat tubes were installed in two zones.

These systems comply with the requirements of the European Gas Appliance Directive (EN 777) and qualify for inclusion on the Energy Technology List.
