LED lamp is designed for fire-rated downlights

Aurora LIghitng, LED, fire rated downlight

Aurora’s Sola Universal fire-rated downlighter and Firetec LED lamps can be covered in insulation and are available in long and short forms. Enlarged ventilation slots can reduce internal-can temperature by 20% to increase lamp life.

Firetec LED is claimed to be the only lamp optimised for maximum lifetime in fire-rated downlights. CrystalCool technology reduces the temperature of the LED junction by 30% for a higher-quality, brighter light for longer.

Described as the next generation in thermal management, these retrofit lamps use the world’s smallest active heat sink. Purchased together, both products are guaranteed for five years.
