Interfacing with centralised plant

interface
By incorporating a plate heat exchanger to provide an interface between community heating schemes or central boiler plant, the Redan range from Taconova provides instantaneous domestic hot water and control of space heating.
Tacanova has been appointed exclusive UK distributor for the Danfoss Redan product range for providing heating and DHW in community heating schemes and large apartment blocks. The range includes a choice of instantaneous water heaters, interface units for DHW and heating or multi-user substations. Served by a flow of hot water from a district-heating scheme or central boiler plant, these units provide a low-cost, space-saving and energy-efficient alternative to electric or gas-fired boiler with a hot-water cylinder. The Redan range is used in many community heating and apartment installations across Europe.
