Schneider Electric offers control for smaller buildings

Schneider Electric has added to its SmartStruxure suite a Lite solution for small and medium-size buildings. SmartStruxure Lite is a high-performance, low-cost, integrated building-management system. It provides tailored functionalities for facilities with a smaller footprint — including retail stores, offices, hotels, schools and healthcare clinics.

It is an open system that integrates management of HVAC, lighting, energy etc. into a single easy-top-manage interface. SmartStruxure Lite also offers programmable control and management using the StruxureWare Building Expert software, a Web interface with no licence fee.

Built on open standards, SmartStruxure Lite can seamlessly integrate with new and existing building infrastructure through EcoStruxure Web Services (EWS), BACnet IP and oBIX.
