Downlighter range receives complete makeover

RIDI Lighting’s EBD range of downlighters has been totally revised.

RIDI Lighting has launched a totally revised range of downlighters. The EBD range is available in five diameters from 150 to 340 mm with compact fluorescent lamps from 11 to 57 W. Various depths are offered, including a very shallow unit only 60 mm deep. Designed as a 2-part luminaire, the EBD range has two sizes of gear housing that can be used across the entire range. The gear housing can be inserted through the ceiling aperture to minimise installation and maintenance time. The housing for the reflector head has a die-cast mounting ring with a new clamping mechanism for all ceiling types: it does not require the use of tools. The aluminium reflector is available in a specular polished finish as well as a soft matt, a specular facetted pattern and white enamel. RIDI has avoided using plastics in the entire head-reflector assembly.
