Evinox communal heating for London regeneration project

Evinox Energy is working with Bowmite Electrical & Mechanical on a new mixed-use development in Walthamstow that has a communal heating system serving 80 dwellings. The site is in the Blackhorse Lane regeneration area of Walthamstow.

The LTHW system is served by a bespoke prefabricated skid for the central plant — specially tailored to the project requirements and limited plantroom space.

There are ModuSat FS heat-interface units with integrated hot-water tanks in the dwellings.

The Evinox boilers in the plant room have a total output of 460 kW and excellent seasonal efficiency. They have Class 5 NOx emissions of less than 10 ppm and carbon monoxide of around 47 ppm. Other equipment includes a Matic-Pro pressurisation unit, expansion vessel, circulating pumps, heat meters and other accessories.
