Gilberts delivers major order to Hong Kong

Gilberts, grilles, diffusers, ventilation

Gilberts Blackpool has shipped over a thousand aluminium floor-grille cassettes to Hong Kong for use in a premium-quality data centre. Sales director Ian Rogers said, ‘It’s a bit like sending coals to Newcastle, exporting manufactured aluminium products to the world’s biggest producer of the metal. The Chinese appreciate quality and particularly value British engineering and manufacturing.’

He also says that the company’s in-house design and manufacturing capability was a major advantage. After the grilles had arrived, a different damper design was required. Gilberts quickly developed a solution and shipped it out to be fixed easily to the grilles.
