Hoval acquires district-heating specialist

Hoval, Yados, district heating

Hoval Group has acquired Yados, a leading provider of local- and district-heating solutions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Hoval has maintained a small shareholding in the company since its was founded in 2009 and has now purchased 100% of the shares.

The acquisition reflects the growing importance of heat networks in reducing carbon emissions as well as Hoval’s already strong presence in these markets.

The Yados product range complements existing Hoval products in a number of areas. They include PowerBloc CHP, TransTherm aqua fresh-water systems and TransShare custom-made distributors for large plant and construction of individual container solutions.
