Single alarm unit combines sounder and beacon

alarm unit
Visual and audible alarms are both provided by Apollo’s sounder beacon base.
Apollo’s new sounder beacon base combines an integrated base sounder, loop-powered beacon and isolator in once unit. A smoke or heat detector would normally be fitted to the base, but red and white caps can be used instead to enable operation as a standalone sounder/beacon. The devices enable building owners to meet the requirements of the Disabilities Discrimination Act, which requires visual alarms for the hard of hearing. It also meets the requirements of the revised Approved Document M of the Building Regulations for England and Wales, which stipulate visual, audible and detection devices in every bedroom and visual and audible devices in every bathroom of hotels.
