The assessment team was particularly impressed by the Grundfos approach to integrating people with learning disabilities, either physical or emotional, into its workplace, through a partnership with Remploy, in an integrated unit within the Grundfos headquarters at Leighton Buzzard.
Grundfos’s probation scheme gained a special mention from the assessors. This scheme is in its second year and offers ex-prisoners a one-year initial contract to give them the opportunity to integrate back into society while gaining additional skills.
