The £2.5 million contract for category A services design and installation for plot 3 at Uxbridge Business Park has been awarded to Kier Building Services Engineers.
Kier Building Services Engineers is building on work at Uxbridge Business Park with the winning of a £2.5 million contract for the design-and-build provision of M&E services for plot 3. The company has been appointed for the category A installation of services for this 3-storey 8400 m2 office building for developer Arlington, following the completion of work on the previous two plots. Heating and cooling to the main office areas will be provided by a 4-pipe system of fan-coil units suspended in the ceiling voids. They will be served by three gas-fired boilers and two air-cooled chilled-water packages at roof level. The reception area will also have trench heating at the entrance. Office lighting will be supplied by high-frequency recessed modular fluorescent luminaires.
