Pushing the boat out — the boat house in Taylor Park, St Helens, is now used all year round following the installation of a Broag boiler to provide space heating.
As part of the refurbishment of the Taylor Park boat house in St Helens a Broag Quinta 45 boiler has been installed to provide heating so that the centre can be used all year round. ‘Energy efficiency and control was an important factor in our choice of boiler, and we turned to Broag with its built-in controls,’ says Barry Mason, building-services engineer with St Helens Council. ‘The added benefit of weather compensation and frost protection means that the building can be used all year round by the youth services.’ Since the refurbishment, over 2000 young people have used the facility for training and to change for watersports activity.
