High-efficiency condensing water heating — the ECOflo range from Andrews Water Heaters.
The ECOflo range of high-efficiency gas-fired condensing water heaters from Andrews comprises seven models with heat outputs from 35 to 79 kW and recovery rates of up to 1400 l/h through 50 K. They have storage capacities of 230 or 380 l. Features include low-Nox pre-mix power burners that can achieve a net efficiency of 109% and extremely flexible flue arrangements. A specially designed 3-pass flue system moves hot gases at high velocity with a turbulent flow for high heat transfer to the water. The centralised, submerged combustion chamber minimises radiant heat loss. The storage tank is protected from corrosion by a high-silica Vitraglas lining. The proven Hydrojet system for reducing sediment is fitted on the cold connection. Maintenance-free Correx powered anodes are fitted as standard. All models can be flued vertically or horizontally as room-sealed balanced-flue appliances using concentric-flue components supplied by Andrews. Electronic controls are standard.
