University of Bath honours the founder of Buro Happold

Michael Dickson, founder of consulting-engineering practice Buro Happold, has been awarded an honorary Doctor of Engineering from the University of Bath. He says, ‘It is an incredible feeling to be recognised for something that is a passion. I have been very lucky in that my engineering career has rewarded me with increased levels of challenge, resolution and recognition as I have gained experience of the years. I hope that this experience will be beneficial to budding engineers for the future.’
