Coster has launched a range of pulsed metering equipment for measuring liquid flows in building-services systems.

Designed for measuring liquid flows in building-services systems is a range of pulsed metering equipment from Coster Environmental Controls. They can be used for on-site and remote monitoring and control of boilers, air-conditioning and air-handling plant.

The cornerstone of the range are the K Series pulsed meters for pipe sizes from half up to 8 in. There are units for measuring water flow, heating and chilled-water distribution systems. Reed switches are used for the pulsed output to achieve reliable, long-life performance. The integral 2-wire connection, which can be extended if required, enables the meters to be located virtually anywhere.

Meters from the K Series can be linked to Coster UAC 668 modules, which have 16 inputs to record pulses from any flow source (gas, water etc.) and translate them into a range of units, such as kW, BTU/h or l/h.
