Local-authority approval for fire-stop system for cables

cablofil
Cablofil has been awarded local-authority building-control-system approval by Halton Borough Council for its self-contained fire-stop system, EZ-Path. Designed for use with data-communications cabling and low-voltage networks, EZ-Path enables cables to be added or removed without any additional fire-stopping. The square-section galvanised-steel structure is lined with an inert material that expands in the event of a fire to form a high-integrity seal against heat, smoke and fumes. This approach to ensuring the safety of fire-wall penetrations reduces installation times and makes it easier to make changes.
