EERs of up to five — Toshiba’s Super Daiseikai split inverter air conditioners.
An EER (energy-efficiency ratio) of five is claimed for Toshiba’s Super Daiseikai split inverter air-conditioning system. Indoor units also have a newly designed cabinet with a flat front panel. There are three capacities from 2.5 to 4.5 kW in both single-split and multi-split applications. Super Daiseikai uses an advanced silver-plasma air-purifier filtration technology to collect particles, eliminate bacteria and deodorise the air. The filter is self-regenerating, so it does not need cleaning. Low-density ozone eliminates residual bacteria. These units are Eurovent listed amd rated AA for high energy efficiency.
