Call-point range extension increases compatibility

call point
KAC’s MCP range of modular conventional manual call points has been further extended with six standard variants that provide compatibility with all popular variants of control panel on the market. All versions use the patented ‘plug and play’ concept, in which a special terminal block is initially fitted with a simple continuity link enabling the wiring of the fire alarm system to be tested for open, short circuit and earth fault without the manual call point unit in place. Upon final commissioning, the continuity link is removed and the terminal block plugged directly into the back of the MCP. The different configurations are selectable during commissioning by connecting the special terminal block to the required terminations in the back of the MCP.
