Next-day service for replacement of branded pump heads

AMS Pumps has become the first national distributor to work with Armstrong Pumps to stock branded replacement heads for next-day delivery — rather than up to four months. The arrangement follows a 2-year partnership between the parent company of AMS (BSS Industrial) and Armstrong Pumps. The replacement heads will be for glanded inline and end-suction circulator pumps made by Pullen Holden, Brooke, Crane and Baric — brands owned by Armstrong. They can be sourced through BSS Industrial’s network of 56 branches. Lee Tebbatt, national sales manager with AMS Pumps, says, ‘Thousands of these pumps were in stalled in the 1980s and 1990s when these companies dominated the HVAC market, so many are now due for replacement or repair.
