Panasonic comes to rescue of temporary staff agency

When healthcare staff agency faced a delay in the completion of its offices because of supply problems, Climate Center was able to supply Panasonic indoor units within 24 hours.
When supply problems were encountered with air-conditioning equipment for new offices for a leading company providing temporary staffing solutions, air-conditioning specialist Cool Air Solutions turned to Climate Center for help — and took delivery of six Panasonic wall-mounted units the next day. Steve Metcalfe, sales director of the company, explains that the units were needed so that healthcare staff agency Ashton Macey could move into its new offices in Coalville. ‘When the specified indoor units could not be delivered in time, Climate Center’s area sales manager suggested that we switch the order to similar units from Panasonic. Our customer approved the change, and within 24 hours, we were installing units from stocks at Climate Center’s Leicester branch. The Panasonic kit comprises three CSE12 RAC deluxe indoor units, each providing 3.5 kW of cooling, and three CSE18 RAC deluxe wide units of 5 kW each. These units have the e-ion air-purifying system and inverter control for significant energy savings. Vertical and horizontal airflows can be adjusted by remote control. The e-ion purification system traps dust and other airborne particles and collects them on a filter with a fine mesh. It operates independently of the air conditioning to provide continuous protection against dust, mould, viruses and bacteria. Advanced inverter technology changes compressor operation to suit different conditions, enabling systems to reach set cooling or heating temperature about four times faster than non-inverter models.
