Electric solution for homes that are hard to heat

Enact Energy has brought to the UK a Dutch solution for home that are hard to and those that cannot accommodate standard energy-efficiency measures — in an affordable manner. Lexin electric heating panels are said to heat a home for 40 to 50% less than a standard on-peak electric heating system.

These flat-screen infra-red heating panels are said to be ideal for properties with solid walls. In addition, the system dries the walls, improving thermal resistance and the threat of, and damage caused by, condensation mould.

More refrigerant bans possible, says government
