Honeywell’s role as a manufacturer of energy-efficiency products has seen the company named a British Business Superbrand

Honeywell has been named the leading energy company in this year’s British Business Superbrands. The company was placed at position 236 — ahead of npower (249), British Gas Business (253), National Grid (264) and E.ON (266). No other manufacturer of energy-efficiency products appears in the top 500. This table of the strongest business-to-business brands was voted by independent experts and over 1500 professionals from across the UK.

Richard Edwards, director of environmental and combustion control of Honeywell Control Systems, said, ‘While Honeywell is well known globally for its diversified technologies, including aerospace and chemical, in the UK it is best known as the leading brand for environmental and combustion controls, which contribute greatly to energy and water savings and maintain safe and comfortable environments in hoes, buildings and industry. It is really good to see that consumers value energy-efficiency advice from Honeywell more highly than they do from a range of top-class energy-supply companies..
