Shepherd FM converts Twickenham M&E contract to FM contract

Shepherd FM is now responsible for technical services and building maintenance for Twickenham stadium.

Shepherd FM has been awarded a contract for Twickenham stadium It includes technical services and building maintenance. The stadium has recently been upgraded and its capacity increased to 82 000 spectators. As well as hosting rugby matches, it is a music venue and conference facility.

Neil Theuma of the Rugby Football Union says, ‘Shepherd FM was able to demonstrate a significant technical capability and understanding of the importance of system continuity and compliance. These were critical factors in the decision-making process, given the high-profile nature of the stadium and the volume of visitors that pass through our gates.

Noel Clancy, managing director of Shepherd FM, comments, ‘Our ability to exceed expectations and deliver a first-class customer experience have, we believe, been significant factors in being awarded this new contract.’

SES, the building-services arm of the Shepherd Group, has recently completed the installation of M&E services to the new south stand.
