Trox ramps up production to meet delivery demands

Trox boosted its production rate to two-and-half times its average level to satisfy the delivery demand for fan boxes for two projects at Canary Wharf. Output swelled to £325 000 a week, so that in just three weeks, Trox supplied nearly £1 million-worth of fans boxes for buildings for BP International and Morgan Stanley. Project manager Nick Howard says, ‘We ran the factory six days a week and then during the week put on a high shift as well. Our ability to respond quickly to changing demands meant we were able to satisfy the order on time.’
