Toshiba launches touch-screen control

touch screen
In touch with your air conditioning — Toshiba now offers touch screen technology.
Touch-screen technology is an option with controls packaged for Toshiba’s Super Modular Multi (SMMS) R410A VRF air-conditioning range. Commands available include on/off, network control of mode, temperature and central/local monitoring of six functions — plus energy usage using a power meter. Fault codes can also be displayed and data logged. The TCC-link control technology offered with the new SMMS systems provides improved features. They include automatic addressing of indoor units and changing of detailed parameters such as adjustment of air flow for high ceilings. Unusually, the room temperature can be displayed by the remote controller, as well as by a wall-mounted thermostat.
