Baxi Group demonstrates prototype micro CHP

Baxi Group has outlined its commitment to launching a product based on micro CHP (combined heat and power) within the next three years. Mark Edwards, chief executive of the Baxi Group, said at a demonstration of a prototype micro CHP product. ‘We are investing in the future and being pro-active in addressing issues surrounding energy efficiency and the environment. The Baxi Group is an innovative company, and work is well under way to develop a suitable micro CHP product. Among visitors to the company’s facility for product development in Padiham was Tom Delay, chief executive of The Carbon Trust, as well as representatives from DEFRA, Construction Products Association and the North West Development Agency.
