Multiple-apartment ventilation system

Exhausto’s EBV central extract system can serve housing complexes with up to 12 apartments per system. It ensures that each dwelling has the optimum indoor environment and also enables occupiers to control their own ventilation conditions. The system consists of a cooker hood in the kitchen, an exhaust valve in the bathroom and inlets in the living room and bedrooms. The cooker hood has a built in metal damper to prevent fumes spreading in the event of a fire. A fan unit at the heart of the system is shared by all apartments. It can be sited in a loft or outdoors. A constant-pressure controller continuously monitors pressure in the duct system and adjusts the fan speed to coincide with the required air volume.
