Toshiba Air Conditioning strengthens UK sales channels

Toshiba has signed two new major distribution agreements. One is with AMP, which has offices in Welwyn Garden City, Bristol and Bournemouth. The other is with Cool Designs, based in the north east. Both are experienced companies with reputations for supporting consulting engineers and major contractors. This move to sell through a specialist distribution channel follows the recent announcement by TCUK of its agreement to retain HRP as a wholesaling distributor for its Toshiba and Carrier brands. David MacRae, commercial director for Toshiba Air Conditioning, says, ‘These agreements demonstrate our intention to use all possible sales channels to ensure that customers have appropriate access to our great new range of R410A products. ‘The market place is changing all the time. It is very broad, with a wide variety of customers needing different services. Having a range of distribution services enables us to meet the needs of many more customers and improve our service to existing customers. This is what we are in business to do. ‘Our product range is now so broad and extensive, this support by a broad distribution channel guarantees all our customers will get the choice and service they need.’
