Glow-worm boilers reach top efficiency rating

Boiler
This 30 kW high-efficiency condensing boiler system is one of a range of six models from Glow-worm to have achieved SEDBUK A rating.
Glow-worm’s range of domestic high-efficiency condensing boilers have achieved SEDBUK A rating. There are six models in the range. • 30 kW high-efficiency condensing system boiler (sxi). • 18 and 30 kW high-efficiency condensing heating-only boilers (hxi). • 24, 30 and 38 kW condensing combis (cxi). Built-in diagnostics enhance serviceability, and Continua electronics enable these boilers to continue operating when others may fail due to system faults. All models have frost protection as standard. The condensing combi boilers have a primary stainless-steel heat exchanger and filling loop. Domestic hot water is produced via a stainless-steel plate heat exchanger at up to 15.5 l/min at 35 K temperature rise. A pre-heat facility gives a 5-second hot-water response. The cxi and sxi boilers are fully modulating and come complete with pump, expansion vessel and safety discharge valve. They also have a built-in bypass and anti-seize controls.
