Metric cold-water fittings are WRAS approved

JG Speedfit has introduced a wider and improved WRAS-approved range of fittings for metric-size cold-water services. These fittings have a body of black polypropylene and an improved collet (gripper) with stainless-steel teeth to provide extra grip on the pipe.

The main benefit is that connections are made with a simple push-in action, without tools. A fast installation is guaranteed first time every time. Once a joint is made, the stainless-steel teeth grip the pipe and give a high resistance to pull out.

Fittings are easy to disconnect and can be used again without having to replace parts.

The range is offered in sizes from 20 to 32 mm and includes adaptors to connect MDPE to copper or PEX pipe with male or female threads and the old Imperial size LLDPE. Soon to be introduced are stoptaps for MDPE and MDPEx plumbing pipe.
