LG’s second generation of Air Cool indoor units for air conditioning combine a range of improvements. The first major innovation is the addition of a Neo Plasma air-purifying system with 11-step bio-enzyme filters. An option is an oxygen generation kit. Installed on top of the outdoor unit. it increases the oxygen concentration of outdoor air to 30% by removing nitrogen. This oxygen-rich air is delivered to the space to as maintain the oxygen concentration in indoor air at 20%. Front panels can now be changed easily. There is a huge range of colours and styles, including famous paintings and photographic images. Customers can easily replace the front panel when they require. To achieve the slimmest indoor unit, a 3-step bent evaporator is used, with a volume reduction of 22%. LED displays have been replaced with a premium liquid-crystal display. The outdoor unit has been restyled and now has a piping cover and pre-coated metal cabinet for greater durability and improved aesthetics. The BLDC fan motor on indoor units has a sound level of just 22 dB(A).
