EMCOR’s 12-year relationship with BAT continues

EMCOR

EMCOR Group has added to its 12-year relationship with British American Tobacco with a 3-year extension to its longstanding facilities-management contract which started in 1999. The latest contract includes providing integrated facilities-management and engineering services at BAT’s 18 200 m2 global headquarters next to the River Thames in London, which accommodates 1200 staff.

Since starting in 1999 delivering basic M&E services, the contract has expanded to include technical services, porterage, customer service and 24/7/365 emergency cover for the company’s Globe House Headquarters.

EMCOR has also helped BAT maintain and improve on good practice in energy management by developing energy-saving initiatives and encouraging staff to be energy aware. Energy-efficient technology has delivered a significant reduction in energy consumption.
