AxAir Climate and Hitachi continue their long-standing partnership

AxAir Climate has signed an exclusive agreement to continue sales of Hitachi’s screw-compressor water chillers in the UK. The agreement, signed at Hitachi’s factory near Barcelona, also confirms that AxAir Climate will continue to build on its success in distributing Utopia, Summit and Monozone split system and Set Free VRF equipment. The two companies have worked together for 30 years, an achievement that was acknowledged at a recent distributor meeting with a presentation to AxAir Climate’s managing director Paul Kingswell.

More refrigerant bans possible, says government

The government could tighten up the rules that restrict the use of global warming refrigerant gases including speeding up phase-out programmes and introducing new bans, according to a spokesman from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).
